Chris Hampton Head Coach of the Canoe Club.
Chris is a BCU Level 4 Kayak coach and Level 2 Canoe Coach.

Chris also holds an Assessor status for Foundation Safety and Rescue Training and  is qualified to coach on whitewater of all levels.

Simon de Whalley  Coach of the Canoe Club.
Simon is a BCU Trainee Level 3 Kayak Coach.

Simon brings over 30 years of coaching experience to the team, his easy going manner breathes confidence into any group.

Anwar el Bizanti Assistant Coach of the Canoe Club.
Anwar is working towards his full coaching qualifications.

  Anwar holds his Scout permits for Kayak and Canoe and is working towards his coaching aquakifications.

Mick Paul Coach of the Canoe Club.
Mick is a FSRT holder and holds Scout Permits for Canoe and Kayak Coach.

Mick is an old friend of the canoe club after previously learning some of his paddling with us, we’re very pleased to say that he’s returned to become part of our coaching team

Andy Frith Coach of the Canoe Club.
Andy is a UKCC Level 1 Canoeing Coach

‘Steps’ has already accumulated a broad range of coaching experience.

Tim Hampton Coach of the Canoe Club.
Tim is a BCU Level 2 Kayak Coach.


Tim has been coaching with the club for a number of years and inspires confidence in adults and youngsters alike.

Mike Cook Coach of the Canoe Club.
Mike is a UKCC Level 1 Canoeing Coach.

Mike is one of our regular coaches he has a wealth of Scouting experience and his easy manner and enthusiasm generate a great rapport with all whom he coaches.

Jane Adlam-Cook  Coach of the Canoe Club.
Jane UKCC Level 1 Canoeing Coach..

Jane is one of our regular up and coming coaches.

Helen Dungey Assistant Coach of the Canoe Club.
Helen is working towards her full coaching qualifications.

Helen is qualified to Canoeing Safety Test and is now working towards her canoeing coaching qualifications.

Graham Hardie Coach of the Canoe Club.
Graham is a UKCC Level 1 Canoeing Coach

      Graham is one of our regular coaches he has a wealth of Scouting experience and has now put his canoeing experience into formal qualifications. his easy manner builds a rapid rapport with all he coaches.

Coaching Qualifications are freely made available on prior request to any parents or leaders wishing to confirm the safety of their charges. All of the team give their time freely and voluntarily in true Scouting fashion. New, existing and aspirant coaches are always welcome.
