About Us & Info

Coaches at the club hold a qualification with the British Canoe Union, the National Governing Body (NGB) for canoeing. They are all Leaders or ‘skills Instructors’ with the Scout Association and therefore are certified both in Safety and Rescue techniques but also hold a 1st aid award

There is no mandatory membership fee for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts or Explorers but a £3.50 charge is made, per session attended, this money goes towards use of the headquarters for changing and storage facilities and for the insurance / upkeep of the kayaks. We also look forward to improving our equipment resourses as much and as often as possible.

For Scouts wishing to come along, please click here for a printable details/consent form.
This will be needed for our records when you first come down to the club

Scout groups can also book a session for the whole unit or troop to come down on an evening or weekend.
