KSCC Intro to Paddle Sports
We are pleased to offer our KSCC Intro to Paddle Sports course – a six‑week programme designed to introduce scouts to the range of paddle sports available at Kingston Scouts Canoe Club.
This course is ideal for beginners or those looking to gain experience across different disciplines in a friendly, supportive environment.
Course Overview
The aim of the Intro to Paddle Sports course is to give participants hands‑on experience of:
- Kayaking
- Canoeing
- Stand‑up Paddleboarding (SUP)
Over the six weeks, scouts will ideally spend around two weeks on each craft type, allowing time to build confidence, basic skills and enjoyment on the water.
Dates, Times and Location
- Start date: Wednesday 10 June
- Duration: 6 weeks
- Session time: 7:30pm – 9:15pm
- Cost: £25
Sessions take place on Ravens Ait Island, Kingston, courtesy of Sealion Scouts, who kindly allow us to share their excellent facilities.
Consent Form
To take part in the course, a completed consent form is required before the first session.
